A Drabble

“Do you know what Lord Fingolfin told me yesterday?” she asked, tracing the swelling curves of his pectoral muscles. “That once an elf has fathered children, his thoughts turn to higher things, and he loses all desire.”

Legolas, gathering her comfortably against his body, said nothing.

“Is it true, Lassui?” she persisted. “If we do have children, will you not want me any more?”

“I will always want you, melmenya,” he said, sliding his hands down to her buttocks. “My mind will never turn to higher things…”

“But how can you be so sure?”

She giggled at his wordless reply.
